The first thing one has to acquire is a Gmail email address. After setting up a Gmail email address, choosing an online fax service would be next.
There are several to choose from. It is personal preference.
The Gmail address that was chosen will be linked to the new online fax service. While being logged into Gmail, one must click on the compose mail button that is on the left hand side.
A user can attach any file, photo, or document that is saved on his or her computer. Any document that can be scanned can also be sent by Google Fax.
Typing in the body of the email is also allowed. Instead of adding an email address to send an email,the user will enter a destination fax number then the fax company's private email domain.
For example if using TFax, the fax number would be 7065551234tfax.com. This is all that one needs to do to fax with Google.
Currently, there is no service that a user can use for free with this Google service. There are ways to fax with Google Fax for free only if one wants to receive or simply send.
